Business Owner Guidelines



  • Claim Business/Add Business: You can claim or add your business on Poter, and add accurate, up-to-date information on your business page. Although it may take time to approve your submission, necessary and effective methods as such should be performed to maintain the quality of our community.


  • Public Comments: Direct messaging is often the best way to resolve a dispute with an unhappy customer. We recommend business owners to reply comments with the Facebook account on behalf of their companies or stores. Don’t use public comments to launch personal attacks, advertise, or offer an incentive to change a review.


  • Video and Photos: Videos are awesome for displaying your services. Be as creative as you can, but please keep it clean. We're not big fans of imagery showing violence, drug use, nudity, near nudity, or suggestive acts. Also, please don't use your video to disparage other businesses, users, or Poter.


  • Don’t solicit reviews from customers: Please don’t ask your customers to deliberately review on your business page on Poter. Not only do solicit reviews mislead users on Poter, they are also bad for businesses who might feel they are paid to stand out in the competition.
